AGC Signature Fundraising Events
Every year, Art Gallery of Calgary presents two signature fundraising events—AGCcooks and ARTwear. As a public organization, the Art Gallery of Calgary believes strongly in education. All proceeds from our fundraisers help support the AGC’s renowned Arts Education Programs for schoolchildren and the public.
AGCcooks is our spring fundraiser when Art Gallery of Calgary is transformed into a kitchen stadium for a friendly culinary competition between six of Calgary’s top chefs.
ARTwear, our fall fundraiser, is a high-energy fashion show featuring a fashion show of the latest in women’s and men’s couture.
Believe in the Arts Benefit
Believe in the Arts Benefit, Each year the Art Gallery of Calgary celebrates creative connections with its annual Believe in the Arts Benefit. The AGC has co-partnered with other great fine arts organizations, such as the Lands End Chamber Ensemble, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Alberta Ballet to promote cross-disciplinary appreciation of all forms of fine art.
REDHot Gala, was the AGC’s 30th Birthday Party. Thank you for joining us on September 29, 2007 for an exciting evening of contemporary art, live funk and swing music, art demonstrations, signature cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres as the AGC celebrated its 30th Anniversary!
