ART, CULTURE & CULINARY TOUR
Summer 2011: Los Angeles

Friday, August 26, 2011 to Wednesday, August 31, 2011
The Art Gallery of Calgary visted Los Angeles on a one-of-a-kind Art, Culture & Culinary Tour. With private tours of exceptional galleries, fine dining and limousine service to all locations, this was an unforgettable experience.
Our group enjoyed private tours of The Museum of Contemporary Art Grand Avenue, Bergamot Station, the Architecture and Design Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Participants also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at the J. Paul Getty Museum on an exclusive tour of the Getty Conservation Institute.
After feasting their eyes on incredible art, the group dined on culinary delights at the finest restaurants in the area, such as Bouchon, Bazaar, Providence and Spago.
To top off our Los Angeles experience, we saw LA’s stunning architecture on an executive stretch limousine tour of the city’s most famous landmarks and elegant homes.
The tour concluded with the Los Angeles opening of softcore HARD EDGE at Claremont Graduate University. This experience offered participants the unique opportunity to view this exhibit in both Calgary and Los Angeles and explore the relationship between these two art centers.
