TODAY’S ART is an opportunity for discovery. Innovative materials and wide-ranging themes invite curiosity and new ways of looking at our world. Our school programs make it easy for you to include contemporary art in your teaching. Join us at the gallery or invite us into your school for an in-class workshop. But be warned: participation in our programs has been known to encourage inquiring minds, make imaginations soar, and inspire creativity!
AGC programs offer:
- interactive programming for Grades K-12
- creative ways to meet curriculum objectives in: Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Visual Art
- ideas for related pre- and post-visit classroom activities
- field experiences to support your learning objectives

The Art Gallery of Calgary is a non-profit public art gallery dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art. Formerly the Muttart Public Art Gallery, the AGC has been part of Calgary’s cultural life for 30years.
